Open the style options for the layer.

Select one of the preset colors or use the advanced color tab to pick your own.

Close the style options.

Changing the color of a layer you own

Go to the layer page.

Select Manage Layer from the menu in the bottom right.

Select the Style tab.

Select one of the preset colors or use the advanced color tab to pick your own.

Click Save to save your changes
